Author Alexandra M. Wallace fell in love with horses at a young age.
She worked and lived abroad for many years and loved her experiences.
In 2021, she began work on what has become an acclaimed and beloved horse book trilogy called, “The Liza and Libby Adventures Trilogy” about a young cowgirl and her horse.
In 2024, after dusting off the six books for children she had written in 2014, Ms. Wallace rekindled her collaboration with illustrator Elizabeth Maxim to bring these wonderful books to market for readers to enjoy. Book one in the Emma series of stories was published in October 2024.

Ms. Wallace is an avid outdoors enthusiast who loves to go exploring and having adventures just like eight-year-old Emma and twelve-year-old Liza. The author loves hiking on trails, strolling through fields, sloshing across streams and climbing high mountains.
She has ridden her own horses in places like Montana, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Maine and Arizona. And she has hiked in faraway places like Switzerland, Bulgaria, Georgia, Poland and Lithuania.
